Privacy Policy

This page explains what personal data we collect through figaromusic.se, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.

  Controller

  Figaro Music & Media Group AB (“Figaro,” “we,” “us”) is the data controller for figaromusic.se. Contact: info@figaromusic.se.

  What we collect and why

  • Newsletter. Your email address, if you subscribe, to send new release and test-pressing notices (roughly four times a year). Legal basis: consent. Unsubscribe anytime via the link in any email.
  • Reserve requests. If you use “Reserve” on a catalogue title, we collect your name and email to hold and fulfil that reservation. Legal basis: contract / pre-contractual steps.
  • Merchandise orders. Apparel orders are processed and fulfilled by our partner Fourthwall, who handle payment, shipping, and related personal data on our behalf under their own privacy terms. Legal basis: contract.
  • Reel Series interest / allocation requests. If you write to us naming a title, we keep your name and email to consider you for that allocation and to contact you if a slot opens. Legal basis: consent.
  • Direct correspondence. If you email or call us, we keep that correspondence to respond to you and, where relevant, to fulfil an order or enquiry. Legal basis: legitimate interest / contract.

  How long we keep it

  Newsletter and allocation-request data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Order and correspondence data relating to a purchase is kept for as long as Swedish bookkeeping law requires (currently seven years).

  Third parties

  • Fourthwall (merchandise fulfilment and payment).
  • Supabase — database storage for newsletter and reservation data, provisioned via Lovable Cloud.
  • Cloudflare — hosting infrastructure for figaromusic.se.

  We do not sell personal data to anyone.

  International transfers

  Some of the above providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. Where this happens, it is covered by their own standard contractual safeguards.

  Your rights

  You can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to withdraw consent (e.g. unsubscribe). Email info@figaromusic.se. You also have the right to complain to Sweden’s data protection authority, IMY (imy.se), if you believe your data has been mishandled.

  Changes

  This policy may be updated as Figaro’s services evolve (for example, when the open-reel tape series launches with its own ownership registry). Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
